For myself, Wechat is the most frequently used application in my phone. Before Wechat become popular, everyone like use message to keep in touch, but there are lots of disadvantage of message. Like weak signal makes communication is not timely and message just can send words and picture can’t send video or voice. Wechat makes communication more convenient and faster. Use Wechat, we can send friends photos, sight and our location, and also we can use the video call. The best part of Wechat is if you build a group, you can use voice call to achieve instant multiplayer call. 
But Wechat just popular between chinese student, lots of local students don’t know how to use it, so my friend Brian suggest we use Skype to communicate.
It is really convenient and it is help me a lot in my assignment.
For CMWP, our group member ( Kim, Brian, Emma and Christine) build a group in Skype, we discuss the script of digital story and then we determine each person’s role and all of the things. Not only of this, we also use Skype group to face time with each other to share our idea of how to shot the scene and discuss what kind of music we use. It is makes our production easier.
There are lots of application have the same function of Wechat and Skype, like Whatsapp and Messenger, it all makes our live better.
